PUNE cooperated with LED street lights manufacturers to make new plan for street light management

   A recent proposal by PUNE government revealed that they will cooperate with LED street lighting manufacturers to make new plans to discard previous centralized street lighting system and bring in a ward office-level system for the purpose of maintaining street lights better.

   This city has installed large enough quantity of LED street lights served by LED street lighting manufacturers across this city to save electricity. Most of these lights nearly 90% delivered not good enough quality, which breaks down for a month. The new lighting system need to be implemented.

   Previously, when lights breaking down, the centralized street lighting management system will set about repairing process for a long time as there are large amounts of lights need to be controlled. And repairing a light needs a long time. Instead, the new ward office-level tender system cooperated with LED street lighting manufacturers enables faster repairing time. The contractor of a particular ward will be able to do the repairs in the area designated to him. The delayed repair of damaged street lights is frustrating, said spokesperson from local electricity administration. According to what he said the decentralized method would help speed up the disposal of complaints.
