Analysis of Australia LED light industry

  Australia, a developed country in southern hemisphere with GDP ranking 12 across the globe, has a slim population of about 23,000,000.Thus its manpower-oriented manufacturing is not that powerful, which cause the same situation for lighting manufacturing where few lighting company exists locally. Therefore, the lighting products in Australia is heavily dependent on imports, most of which are come from China.

  In this beautiful and vast country, home to 7m-8m families, average family own 70-80 fixtures, most of which are about MR16 halide lamps and traditional high press sodium lamps. There are great potentials arising from this huge country. Australia is the first country to phase out traditional incandescent lamps comprehensively, a heaven country for high-efficiency lighting products.

  China’s total lighting products exporting to Australia are up to 71.4m dollars in 2015, up 14.20% than last year, and which covers 39.6m dollars that rising up to 13.08%, ranking 10 for exporting countries.

  With the development and improvement of LED industry along with the increase of green awareness, LED high price and traditional products volumes have lowered dramatically. Hence, LED lighting products keep increasing speed since 2010 locally. Above is based on a study from Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China.
