In Sydney，the capital of Australia installed 250 sustainable street lights across the Sydney CBD as part of an LED street lighting trial. It is estimated that Sydney could cut energy consumption by 50% beyond what was replaced, equivalent to millions of dollars. Meanwhile, it dramatically reduces greenhouse gas emission.
One third of annual electricity consumption of this city and the majority of local carbon emission come from public lighting. And every year nearly 3.5m dollars will be spent on public lighting and 2m dollars on maintenance costs. If anything, this city is installed with LED green Street lights product, and a great deal of costs will be saved for this beautiful city.
